Since babysitting’s at a premium, everything would be crowded, and we like to cook, we stayed in for Valentine’s Day. Bleu cheese encrusted filet mignon with port wine sauce, cheesy new potatoes, and Paula Deen’s pineapple cake with butter rum glaze. It was one of the greater culinary triumphs of our marriage.
