Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve back in Lawrenceville was full of Nash tradition.

The candlelight service at the church where I grew up.

Julie sat in the pew ahead of us, and Sam kept her busy during the service.

Next stop: The Childers’ house. Let the cookie-decorating begin!

In high school Julie was named Official Frosting Blender. Here she is (with baby bump!) making some brown.

Sometimes we go traditional…

…and sometimes we change it up a little.
What used to be holiday shapes became a do-ragged skull and a festive snail.

This year’s masterpiece: a 3D Christmas tree. Enough frosting for a diabetic coma.

Meanwhile…. Should I touch these bright shiny things?
